Scope - 

• We welcome short video, performances, animated works exploring illness, care, identity, ethics, and lived experience in medicine. We value emotional truth and reflective depth over production scale.

Work must be original and not previously published or pending publication elsewhere.

Length & Format: Up to 10 minutes. Submit as MP4 (preferred) or MOV, minimum 1080p resolution.

For each work, required information includes - 

• 2-3 sentence artist statement

• A short bio

• Consent and copyright

Ethical Considerations: 

• Protect confidentiality at all times. 

• Obtain consent for identifiable individuals and clearly indicate fictionalisation where relevant.

• Do not record someone else’s performance and submit without explicit written consent (to be included in the submitted files). 

Accessibility: Subtitles/captions are required. Include content notes/warnings for potentially distressing material.

Audio must be clear and visuals legible. Use only media you have permission to share.
